The organization’s Founder and Board of Directors are experienced and goal-oriented individuals who aim to empower Afghan communities and enhance their awareness of their legal and humanitarian rights.

OSDRA provides various services to Afghan communities, including vocational training, employment services, capacity building, education development programs, skill development, peace building, institutional building, human rights, gender mainstreaming, handicrafts programs, and demining activities. The organization is involved in demining efforts, which are essential to the safety and well-being of Afghan communities. OSDRA aims to support and contribute to the country’s demining efforts, which are critical to rebuilding the country and creating a safer environment for Afghan citizens.

Vision

Our vision is to create a sustainable and peaceful society in Afghanistan where all individuals, particularly the poor and vulnerable, have equal access to economic resources, education, healthcare, and basic services. We strive to empower local communities to take ownership of their development, and to foster a culture of social justice, gender equality, and respect for human rights. Through our innovative and evidence-based interventions, we aim to build a brighter future for generations to come.

Mission

Our mission at OSDRA is to promote sustainable community development in Afghanistan, with a focus on empowering vulnerable communities and breaking the cycle of poverty and social isolation. We strive to achieve this by providing humanitarian services, vocational training, employment services, education development programs, skill development, peacebuilding, institutional building, and human rights and gender mainstreaming programs. We are committed to a sustainable approach to development that respects the environment and the needs of the people, and we work towards achieving gender equality, good governance, and decentralization. We recognize the importance of access to basic social services, and our aim is to ensure that the majority of the population has access to these services. Additionally, we contribute to Afghanistan’s demining efforts to make the country safer for all. Through our work, we aspire to create a future where Afghan communities are empowered economically and mentally, and sustainable development is the norm.
